About the Program
Taught by credentialed nurse instructors with professional experience, our Nurse Assistant Training (CNA) Review program delivers an engaging curriculum that meets both state and federal education regulations. The review program is designed to train students through didactic, use of textbooks, reading, videos, instructor demonstration, student demonstrations, pre/post quizzes, and a final exam to measure learning skills. The students are provided with textbooks and all the necessary supplies to practice these skills. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive a certification of completion.
Program Objectives
This 2-week, 40-hour review only course is designed to prepare students for the written and performance examination for the State of Florida Nursing Assistance Licensure examination.
Prerequisites:
You must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must be able to speak, read and write English. Each student must complete a basic English exam given by Nursing Unlimited with a passing score of 70% or higher. In addition, students must complete a minimum of 4-hour HIV/AIDS/OSHA/TB/BBP and American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Basic First Aid certifications.
Total Tuition:
The total tuition for this course is $457.09 which includes both the textbook fee and the $150.00 registration fee. All students entering the course are required to register prior to the class. At the signing of the enrollment agreement, a $150 deposit must be paid consisting of a $50 nonrefundable registration fee. The balance of $307.09 must be paid by the 2nd Monday of the program. This cost also includes training in CPR, First Aid and HIV/AIDS/OSHA. Students are also required to wear Nursing Unlimited, Inc. scrubs which are available at our Front Desk for $26.75 plus applicable Florida State sales tax.
